One of the most delicious foods in the world is sweets. Everybody likes sweets, although not all of us can eat them, because of medical problems, allergies or tooth problems. One of the things kids like the most, and even a great part of adults do like it, are candy bars. They are very popular, full of sugar and perfect to chew. But, like all sweets, they are not very healthier for us.

Candy bars are one of the most popular sweets for kids all over the world. We all ate them when we were children. We even now remember the sweet fruity taste, very colored and aromatic candy bars. We liked to eat green and blue candy bars, so we colored our tongue this way. They were delicious, but full of calories and unhealthy. We had the excuse that we were kids and didn't know and didn't care about it. But, in fact, they still are delicious and still unhealthy. Sugar contained by candy bars is dangerous for our health. Almost all aliments contain sugar, but candy bars contain it in a great quantity and in time it affects our health. The immediate effect on eating too much candy bars is that the sugar accumulates into the body and gets you to get fat. In time, this can produce diabetes, dental problems and so on. In time, sugar can create dependency. It has no vitamins or minerals; it is just empty calories which fattens you. Candy bars are made of sugar, milk or water and other fruity flavors and additives. You melt the sugar; mix it with the flavor and water.

Of course, nowadays you find lots of items in the supermarkets. But the home made ones are delicious, and there are all kinds of kits for kids to make candy bars by themselves at home. It is an educative way of spending time, but still affects health, so they are not very healthy for our body. In the antiquity people were healthier, as they didn't know about sugar's existence. Nowadays, we do eat candy bars, although we know sugar contained in it provokes heart-attacks, diabetes, carries and dental problems, mental health also depends on our sugar daily use, digestive problems. Those are only a few of the diseases caused by eating too much candy bars. We should all be eco-friendly even when eating, so we should limit our candy bars and other sweets, both for us and our loved ones.
